# Gravity Token
Gravity Token **(GVT)** is an **ERC-20** **governance** token for the **Gravity Hub** platform and has **utilities within the Orbeast Universe**. GVT has a **limited and unchangeable supply of 250,000,000 tokens** delimited by the smart contract. **This supply will be reduced** over time. through differen**t burning mechanisms.**
**Holders** will be able to **claim rewards** if they stake their tokens and participate in key governance votes.
The GVT Use Cases have two main goals. The first is to decentralize the ownership and governance of our products. We want Orbeast Fantasy to become a game truly owned and operated by the community that plays it. The second is to reward users for their daily interactions with Orbeast Fantasy and Gravity Platform while simultaneously incentivizing them to hold on to their tokens to claim additional rewards and benefits.
The Treasury receives inflows from:
* 5% of all Orbeast NFT marketplace transactions.
* The GVT portion of the breeding, evolution, fusion and fision fee and DataOrbs bought.
* Launchpad IGOs.
